Welcome to Own Your Digital World (“we,” “us,” “our”). By visiting or making a purchase at https://ownyourdigitalworld.com (“Site”) you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you don’t agree, you can always leave—no hard feelings.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

• Age Requirement
  You must be at least 18 years old to browse, buy, or download. By using the Site, you represent you meet this requirement.
• Account Creation
  For certain Products (e.g., courses or membership), you’ll create an account. You’re responsible for safeguarding your password, and all activity under your login. Sharing credentials or letting someone else use your account? Bad idea – and grounds for termination.

2. Products, Purchases & Payments

• Instant Digital Delivery
  All products: templates, downloads, courses, membership access – are delivered digitally. The moment your payment clears, you get access. No “oops, it’s stuck in the mail.”
• Payment Methods
  We accept major credit cards via Stripe and payments via PayPal. You authorize us (or our processor) to charge your chosen method for the purchase price and any applicable taxes or fees.
• No Refunds on Downloads
  Digital downloads are non-refundable.
• Upcoming Membership
  Our membership subscription is launching soon. Once live, its cancellation, refund, and suspension policies will be clearly posted on the membership sign-up page.

3. License & Usage

• Personal-Use License
  Purchasing grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal-use license. You can use Products for your own projects (websites, social posts, client work), but you can’t claim them as your own or package them for sale.
• Prohibited Uses
  You agree not to:
  1. Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or make Products available to anyone else.
  2. Scrape, hack, or otherwise extract content en masse.
  3. Use Products in any unlawful, defamatory, or pornographic context.
• Termination of License
  Violation of these rules voids your license immediately. We may revoke your access and pursue legal remedies if needed.

4. Email, Freebies & Marketing

• Freebie Sign-Ups
  When you grab a free download, you’ll be added to our general email list – expect tips, updates, and occasional nerdy musings.
• Product-Specific Emails
  Purchasing any Product opts you into that Product’s update list (think bug fixes, new templates, etc.) plus our regular newsletter.
• Unsubscribe
  Every email includes an “Unsubscribe” link. Hit it if you need a break – but remember: you might miss out on crucial updates for your purchased digital product.

5. Intellectual Property

• Our Ownership
  All site content – graphics, text, code, course videos, templates – is owned by us or licensed to us. It’s protected under copyright, trademark, and other laws.
• Your Content
  You retain ownership of anything you upload (e.g., profile info), but grant us a license to display it where needed (e.g., your forum avatar). No surprise uses, we promise.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• No Guarantee of Results
  We craft kick-ass digital Products, but we can’t guarantee you’ll triple your income, cure writer’s block, or suddenly become a unicorn. Results vary.
• Limitation of Damages
  To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Products, even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• Applicable Law
  These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
• Mediation/Arbitration
  If a dispute arises, we’ll first try to settle it through good-faith negotiation. Failing that, we agree to resolve the dispute via binding arbitration under the rules of the Canadian Arbitration Association—no courtroom theatrics.

8. Modifications & Termination

• Changing the Terms
  We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we’ll post a prominent notice on the Site. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
• Account Suspension
  We may suspend or terminate your account and access if you breach these Terms or engage in illegal or harmful activity. No refunds for suspended accounts.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

• External Links
  We may link to third-party sites (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Facebook). We’re not responsible for their content or practices. Use them at your own risk.
• Facebook Group
  Our Facebook group is moderated by us but governed by Facebook’s own Terms. Respect the group rules or you may be removed.
